Halogen vs LED
Halogen lights are very normal to us all. They produce a hot, bright light and come in a very wide variety of types. There are lights intended for an extremely diverse range of outputs from small night lights to huge floodlights. There are outdoor lights, indoor lights, lights intended to attract fewer insects and many others. They have high power usage, low lifespan and are likely to fail as they are switched on and off. They also respond poorly to very cold temperatures.
Flourescent Tubes vs LED
For over 50 years fluorescent tubes have carried the bulk of lighting in offices, factories and public buildings. Everyone knows them and we have adjusted to their disadvantages.
